Characteristics

An epiphytic herb.. Stems slender, usually branched, covered in persistent leaf-sheaths, leafy distally, pendulous, rooting at base only, 3–35(–50) cm. long.. Leaves aciculiform, terete, somewhat flattened, usually arcuate, acute, glabrous or minutely pubescent at base, 1.5–9 cm. long, 0.1–0.2 cm. broad, sheaths obscurely rugulose, glabrous or minutely pubescent.. Inflorescences abbreviated, 0.5–1(–1.5) cm. long, 1–3(–4)-flowered; bracts ovate, acute, amplexicaul, scarious, 0.5–1 mm. long..
