Characteristics

Leaf ground-hugging, circular, with stalk attached near centre of blade, 20–45 mm across, pale grey-green, granular, margins irregular. Flower stem 60–100 mm long, 1–3-flowered. Flowers upside-down, opening widely, obliquely erect, 20–28 × 20–28 mm, pale green with a white labellum (green at base). Dorsal sepal 13–17 × 2–2.5 mm. Lateral sepals 13–17 × 2–3 mm, deflexed, divergent. Petals 11–15 × 2–2.5 mm, spreading, falcate. Labellum 12–15 × 5–6 mm, obscurely 3-lobed; lateral lobes narrow, erect; midlobe broad, deeply and irregularly fringed, with 3 obscure ridges that break up into small, irregular calli. Column 7–8 × 2.5 mm, pale green.
