An erect terrestrial herb to 28 cm. tall.. Tubers ovoid, sparsely pubescent, to 2.2 cm. diameter.. Leaf erect, ovate, 10 cm. long, 6.7 cm. wide, acute, ± 10-veined; petiole stout, 16.5 cm. long.. Scape stout, 20–26 cm. long, 5–6-flowered, yellow-green, bearing 3 tubular ± acute sheathing cataphylls; bracts linear, acute, to 1.9 cm. long.. Flowers erect, becoming pendent, not opening widely, whitish green or brownish green with purple stripes.. Sepals lanceolate, 1.5–1.8 cm. long, 0.3 cm. wide, acute.. Petals similar to sepals, 1.4–1.7 cm. long, acute or subacute.. Lip oblong, trilobed in apical half, 1.6 cm. long, 1.2 cm. broad; disc bearing 2 fleshy parallel slightly pubescent ridges on to base of mid-lobe; side lobes oblong, truncate, short; mid-lobe triangular, 0.6 cm. long, 0.4 cm. wide, acute, margins undulate..
