An erect terrestrial herb to 28 cm. tall.. Tubers ovoid, sparsely pubescent, to 2.2 cm. diameter.. Leaf erect, ovate, 10 cm. long, 6.7 cm. wide, acute, ± 10-veined; petiole stout, 16.5 cm. long.. Scape stout, 20–26 cm. long, 5–6-flowered, yellow-green, bearing 3 tubular ± acute sheathing cataphylls; bracts linear, acute, to 1.9 cm. long.. Flowers erect, becoming pendent, not opening widely, whitish green or brownish green with purple stripes.. Sepals lanceolate, 1.5–1.8 cm. long, 0.3 cm. wide, acute.. Petals similar to sepals, 1.4–1.7 cm. long, acute or subacute..
