Evergreen shrubs, 0.2-0.4 m tall, slightly resin-scented (when crushed). Stem woody, repeatedly branched, branches woody, permanent, striate, scabrous along ribs. Leaves cauline, regularly arranged along the upper parts of the branches, permanent, sclerophyllous, (6)10-25(-30) x 5-10 mm; blade ovate to narrowly ovate; 2-pinnate, rachis with 2 or sometimes 3 pairs of lateral pinnules. Pinnules oblanceolate to obovate, 3-12 x 2-8 mm, 2-or 3-cleft or 2-lobed rarely entire; venation pinnate, prominently raised on adaxial surface; concolorous, green; lobes lanceolate to narrowly lanceolate, flat, 1.5-6.0(10) x 0.75-2 mm, margins entire. Petioles up to 5 mm long, sheathing along their entire length. Inflorescence long (more than two times longer than the diameter of the primary umbel), peduncle striate, with a larger terminal umbel and 0 to 3 smaller lateral umbels; umbels compound. Primary umbel with 5-10 rays, flat-topped; bracts lanceolate, apex acute to acuminate, densely scabrous; rays 8-30 mm long at anthesis, unequal, densely scabrous; bracteoles lanceolate, apex acute, densely scabrous; raylets densely scabrous. Flowers pentamerous, predominantly hermaphroditic, those in the lateral umbels often entirely or in part functionally male; sepals relatively large, 0.5-0.9 mm long, apex acute, slightly scabrous; petals yellow, elliptic to obovate, acuminate, with inflexed tips, slightly scabrous. Fruit dorsally compressed, broadly elliptic to elliptic, 4-6.0 x 2.5-4.0 mm, glabrous; mericarps homomorphic; median and lateral ribs very slightly prominent; marginal ribs relatively broadly-winged; commissural vittae 2, narrow; vallecular vittae 4, solitary, narrow; additional vittae under vascular bundles in ribs absent; commissure very broad, 100% of mericarp width; carpophore bipartite.
