Leaf stiff, petiolate; petiole 6–19 cm long, grooved above the middle, articulated below the middle to a base 3–6 cm long; lamina 6.5–12 × 1.5–3.5 cm, ovate or oblong-lanceolate, acute, undulate or finely crenate on the margins, green.
Lip 7–8 mm long, 8–11 mm wide at the base, 3-lobed at about the middle; side lobes erect; mid-lobe 8–11 mm wide when flattened, emarginate or 2-lobed; disk with 2–3 keels; spur 4–5 mm long, conical, obtuse.
Pseudobulbs 4–5 cm long, narrowly conical to ovoid, covered with lanceolate sheaths which disintegrate into soft, fibrous remains, 1-leafed.
Inflorescences 1–2, erect, 30–47 cm long, simple or with 1–2 short branches, 20–30-flowered.
Petals 6–7 × 2–3 mm, oblong, obtuse, usually slightly shorter and wider than the sepals.
Flowers rather small, green or yellowish-cream spotted with green, tinged with purple.
Sepals spreading, 6–9 × 1.7–2.2 mm, oblong, acute.
Pedicel and ovary slender, 1–2 cm long.
Column 3–4 mm long, 2 mm wide.
Scape with 3–4 bracts.
Bracts 1–2 mm long.
Terrestrial herb.
