Characteristics

Shrub to 60 cm, rarely taller, single-stemmed or with fire-tolerant stock and many openly-branched stems, glabrous except staminodes. Branchlets almost smooth. Leaves oblong to narrowly cuneate, truncate to retuse, shortly apiculate, mostly 4-10 mm long and 2-3 mm wide, sessile, semi-amplexicaul. Pedicel and hypanthium together 2-3 mm long. Calyx c. 0.2 mm long. Corolla 3.5-4 mm long, creamy white. Stamens 1.5 mm long; filaments narrow; staminodes 2 mm long, bifid, densely bearded in lower half. Style 1.5 mm long. Drupe ellipsoidal, 5 mm long.
