Leaves blue-green or purplish-green, 0.8–1.3 cm. x 5–8 mm., elliptic or elliptic-ovate, subacute at the apex, ± rounded at the base, somewhat fleshy, revolute, glabrous or minutely scabrid above, glabrous beneath, discolorous, the rhaphides particularly evident on the lower surface; midvein evident but no lateral veins visible; petioles c. 1 mm. long; stipule sheath c. 1 mm. long, divided into c. 3 fimbriae 0.8 mm. long.
Corolla white; tube 2.1–2.5 mm. long, hairy at the throat; lobes 1.5–1.8 x 1.3 mm., ovate, apiculate, densely papillate inside; style hairy, 1.3 mm. long in short-styled flowers, 3 mm. long in long-styled flowers; stigma lobes oblong or elliptic, 0.6–0.8 mm. long, densely papillate-hairy.
Flowers heterostylous, in several-flowered erect axillary ± dichasial cymes; peduncles (0.1)1–2.5 cm. long; pedicels 0.2–1 cm. long, glabrous or minutely pubescent Calyx tube 1.5 mm. long, campanulate; lobes 1–1.8 x 0.5–0.8 mm., ovate, mostly minutely scabrid-ciliate on the margins.
Small presumably decumbent perennial herb 4–9 cm. long; stems very shortly scabridulous-pubescent.
