Leaf-blades ovate, 4–6.5 mm. long, 2–5 mm. wide, subacute to rounded at the apex, rounded at the base, often rather thick, shortly ciliate around the margins but otherwise glabrous; petiole 0.5–1 mm. long; stipule-sheath and lobe 0.4–1 mm. long, produced into 2 fimbriae 0.2–0.5 mm. long, ciliate.. Flowers heterostylous, 1–5, terminal or axillary, in fascicles without a common peduncle; pedicels 1–2 mm. lengthening to 7(–14) mm. after flowering.. Calyx-tube obconic, 0.8 mm. long, glabrous or sparsely pubescent; lobes oblong-triangular, 1 mm. long, 0.5 mm. wide.. Corolla white with pinkish-mauve limb or reddish green or pink; tube 0.2 mm. long; lobes triangular, 1.5 mm. long, 1 mm. wide, glabrous..
