Stamens inserted slightly above middle of corolla tube, included; filaments extremely short. Ovary 4-parted. Style included. Gynobase flat. Nutlets tetrahedral; margin of abaxial surface exserted, becoming a cupular emergence; attachment scar at corner of 3 adaxial surfaces.
