Characteristics

Leaves 3–5-foliolate; leaflets 2–13 × 0.8–5.2 cm, oblong to elliptic, rounded or retuse and minutely mucronulate at the apex, rounded or slightly subcordate at the base, slightly appressed pilose above, densely pilose beneath, particularly on the nerves; venation densely reticulate; petiole 1–2 cm long; rhachis 0.7–5.2 cm long; stipules 4–7 × 0.5–0.8 mm, linear-lanceolate.

Corolla greenish-white with brown pubescence; standard 6–8 × 2.5–3.5 mm, oblong-cuneiform or slightly panduriform, rounded at the apex; claw 1.5 mm long; wings 5.5–7.5 mm long, distinctly spurred.
Calyx densely brown hairy; tube 2 mm long; 3 lower lobes 2–3 × 1 mm, narrowly triangular, upper pair joined to form a shortly bifid lobe 3 × 3 mm.
