Leaves rarely in tufts; stipules ovate or lanceolate-acuminate with subulate tips, up to 4(–7) mm. long and 1.5 mm. broad; rhachis glabrous or more or less glandular-setose, 3–7(–12) cm. long, including a petiole of 4–7 mm.; leaflets 6–17(–24), oblong-elliptic, the larger ones over 10 mm. long and 8 mm. wide, sometimes up to 25(–50) mm. long and 11(–22) mm. wide, somewhat narrowed at the base, shortly mucronate, flat at the margin, glabrous; midrib prominent beneath, whitish; lateral veins very narrow, slightly darkened beneath..
