Herba annua glanduloso-puberula partibus junioribus saepe arachnoidea. Caules plures e radice simplici exeuntes primo adscendentes vel suiierecti postremo decumbentes-prostrati 3-5 dm longi graciles 1-2 mm crassi teretes leviter striati multiramosi basi lignescentes; internodia (praeter infima) 1-3 cm longa. Folia alterna membranacea margine repanda-remote denticulata-dentata vel pauca integerrima apice rotundata vel obtusa apiculata, basalia et inferiora petiolata, petiolis usque 3 cm longis, lamina oblonga vel oblanceolata usque 4 cm longa usque 1.5 cm lata, cetera sessilia vel subsessilia anguste oblanceolata vel sublinearia; nervus medius subtus prominens, nervi laterales vix conspicui. Capitula parva in apicibus caulis et ramorum solitaria. Involucri squamae 8-10 fere aequilongae subuniseriatae lanceolatae vel oblongo-lanceolatae 3-5 mm longae 1-2 mm latae acuminatae dorso glanduloso-puberulae margine ciliatae anguste vel vix albidoscariosae. Flores radii flavi involucri squamas non vel paullo (1-2 mm) superantes. Flores disci flavi involucro fere dimidio breviores. Achaenia dura saepe asperula et glandulosa normaliter valde polymorpha.
