Suffrutex 1-2(-3) m altus; caulis teres strictus valde lignescens basi usque 1.5 cm crassus glaber vel ad axillas floccoso-lanatus apicem versus corymbose ramosus dense foliatus. Folia alterna sessilia coriacea glabra margine integerrima laevia vel scabro-ciliata apice acuta vel acuminata vel rarius subobtusa, basalia lineari-lingulata usque 10 cm longa usque 3 cm lata, caulina lanceolata vel anguste oblonga ± erecta et imbricata (2-)4-8 cm longa (0.5-)1-2 cm lata, ramealia ovata vel ovato-lanceolata 1-2 cm longa. Inflorescentiae subdensae in caule et ramis terminates corymbosae multicapitulatae; pedicelli capitulorum glanduloso-muriculati 1-5 cm longi bracteis paucis lineari-lanceolatis c. 5 mm longis instructi. Involucrum campanulatum 7-10 mm altum; squamae 7-10 uni-vel subuniseriatae inter sese fere aequilongae oblanceolatae-anguste obovatae-oblongae mucronatae albido-marginatae dorso glanduloso-nmriculatae 7-9 mm longae 2-4 mm latae. Flores radii flavi 7-10 involucrum fere duplo superantes; flores disci flavi involucro fere aequilongi. Achaenia ellipsoideo-cylindracea glabra laevia vel basin versus sulcata c. 7 mm longa c. 3 mm lata, c. 5 mm longis instructi. Involucrum campanulatum 7-10 mm altum; squamae 7-10 uni-vel subuniseriatae inter sese fere aequilongae oblanceolatae-anguste obovatae-oblongae mucronatae albido-marginatae dorso glanduloso-nmriculatae 7-9 mm longae 2-4 mm latae.
