Characteristics

Suffrutex vel frutex usque 1 m altus odore aromatico; caulis erectus teres striatus dense et brevissime glanduloso-pubescens glabrescens divaricate ramosus inferne valde lignosus. Folia alterna dense glanduloso-pubescentia crassa (carnosa?), inferiora oblanceolata-lineari-oblanceolata basin versus in petiolum ± conspicuum angustata margine integerrima vel grosse paucidentata, majora usque 5 cm longa usque 1 cm lata, superiora linearia subteretia integerrima in bracteas transeuntia. Inflorescentiae laxae in apicibus ramorum ± conspicue corymbosae plerumque 3-5-capitulatae; pedicelli capitulorum remote bracteati, bracteis parvis subulatis; capitula fructifera nutantia. Involucrum late campanulatum c. 6 mm altum; squamae fere biseriatae lineari-lanceolatae vel lanceolatae acutae dorso glanduloso-puberulae margine albido-scariosae ± fimbriatae. Achaenia 4-5.5 mm longa omnia trialata, alis hyalinis 0.5-1 mm latis.
