Characteristics

Frutex diffuse ramosus, ramis decumbentibus-prostratis; rami teretes vel leviter angulati densissime foliati axillis foliorum floccoso-arachnoidei glabrescentes 2-4 dm longi 2-3 mm crassi. Folia alterna sessilia semiamplexicaulia subcoriacea primo laxe arachnoidea mox glabrescentia linearia plerumque curvata 1.5-3 cm longa 0.1-0.2 cm lata subulato-mucronata margine integerrima ± revoluta saepe scabrociliala; nervus medius subtus prominens. Capitula in apicibus ramorum solitaria breviter pedunculata; pedunculi glanduloso-hirti 0.5-1.5 cm longi bracteis paucis lineari-subulatis 3-5 mm longis instructi. Involucri squamae biseriatae vel subuniseriatae acuminatae per medium dorsum hirtae, exteriores lineares 5-6 mm longae margine anguste albido-scariosae, interiores lanceolatae-lanceolato-ovatae 6-10 mm longae 1.5-2 mm latae margine late albido-scariosae. Flores radii c. 13; ligulae flavae vel subtus passim cupreae involucrum fere duplo super-antes; flores disci flavi involucro fere dimidio breviores. Achaenia vix matura 4.5 mm longa 2 mm diam. glabra triangularia, angulis anguslissime alatis.
