Succulent shrublet, 0.2-0.6 m tall, with a cylindrical, sparingly-branched stem, densely woolly at tips. Leaves in rosettes at branch tips, obovate, shortly petiolate, 30-80 x 25-40 mm, crispulate-undulate, glaucous. Flowerheads 15-38 cm lax corymbs on naked peduncles up to 100 mm long, radiate, yellow; involucre campanulate, 8-10 mm diam., bracts 5-8, 6-8 x 2.5 mm. Cypselas 4-5 mm, striate pubescent; pappus 4-6 mm long.
