Leaves tufted, obovate-spathulate, narrowed to a petiole-like base, 40-70 x 15-30 mm, irregularly toothed and crispulate-undulate, thinly leathery or submembranous. Flowerheads on one or more branched peduncles up to 100 mm long, radiate, yellow; involucre campanulate, ± 5 mm diam., bracts 6-8, 5-7 x 1-2 mm.
