Characteristics

Leaves in a dense rosette, leaflets 3, cuneate-obcordate, hairy on both sides or with a fringe of soft shining hairs, rarely glabrous, minutely orangeto black-dotted. Flowers 1 per short, densely pilose peduncle with alternate bracts, yellow or rarely cream-coloured.
