Leaf-blades whitish beneath (when fresh), narrowly elliptic to elliptic or less often oblanceolate, 6.2–14 cm. long, 2–6.1 cm. wide, acute to acuminate at apex, cuneate, obtuse or sometimes unequal at base, subcoriaceous, tertiary nerves finely reticulate, usually conspicuous on both faces; domatia present or absent; petiole 0.4–0.5 cm. long; stipules narrowly ovate to ovate or less often lanceolate, 1–2.2 cm. long, 0.4–0.7 cm. wide, acute.. Inflorescence 18–25-flowered forming shortly conical panicle, scarcely longer than wide, compact to moderately lax; peduncle up to 3(–5) mm. long; pedicels up to 4 mm. long; bracts and bracteoles filiform above, somewhat keeled at base, 3–4 mm. long, ciliate..
