Leaf-blades discolorous, sometimes very pale beneath, elliptic to narrowly obovate, 9.3–17.4 cm. long, 4–8.4 cm. wide, distinctly acuminate at apex, cuneate at base, chartaceous, glabrous above, finely pubescent beneath (at least when young); tertiary nerves finely reticulate, ± raised on both faces; domatia present; petioles 0.5–1 cm. long, sparsely pubescent beneath; stipules ovate, 0.6–1 cm. long, 5–6 mm. wide, acute, glabrous or sparsely pubescent outside.. Inflorescence 5–9-flowered; peduncles very short, ± 1.5 mm. long; pedicels 2–4 mm. long; bracteoles inconspicuous.. Calyx glabrous; tube 2–2.5 mm. long; limb-tube 2 mm. long, slightly wider than the tube; lobes narrowly triangular or linear-triangular, 2–3 mm. long.. Corolla-tube 12.3–13.3 cm. long, 2 mm. wide; lobes oblong, ± 2.6 cm. long, 2 mm. wide.. Anthers almost entirely exserted, long-acuminate.. Stigmatic club 7 mm. long..
