Characteristics

Plants erect, slender, 100-200 mm tall; leaves 3-7, spreading to erect, linear, the longest lamina 20-80 mm long. Inflorescences rather dense, 3-12-flowered; bracts lying close to and as long as the ovary. Flowers: sepals and petals dull purplish pink to pale green, lip dark purple distally and pale green near the base, anther loculi dark purple, rostellum arms pale yellowish green. Sepals 12-15 mm long, linear-lanceolate, partly spreading to inªcurved. Petals similar to the sepals. Lip with small side lobes. Gynostemium c. 6 mm high; anther pendent, with the thecae close to each other; stigma a small 3-lobed pad on the front side of the gynostemium; rostellum 2-lobed.
