Characteristics

Slender shrub to 0.5 m high, with sparse, appressed, greyish, simple hairs on young stems. Leaves not conduplicate; lamina almost linear to very narrowly ovate, 6–10 mm long, 0.8–1.5 mm wide, base obtuse, margin recurved or revolute, apex acute; smooth and glabrous above, appressed-villous beneath, becoming less hairy with age; petiole 0.6–1.5 mm long; stipules narrowly triangular, 1–2 mm long, free. Inflorescence with c. 20 flowers. Flowers greyish-villous or-woolly. Hypanthium tube c. 3.5 mm long, 1–1.5 mm in diam., with fine tangled hairs inside. Sepals 0.8–1 mm long. Petals c. 0.7 mm long. Ovary inferior. Style 2.5–3 mm long. Fruit unknown.
