Leaf-blades elliptic to obovate, 3.5–12(–15) cm. long, 1.5–5.3(–7) cm. wide, apex acute, sometimes with a short acumen or sometimes rounded, base cuneate, subcoriaceous, ± shiny above, glabrous or rarely pubescent beneath; bacterial nodules dot-like scattered, numerous or few; petioles 0.3–2 cm. long, glabrous or pubescent; stipule-limbs subtruncate to broadly ovate, 2–7 mm. long, usually with the marginal area buff and slightly corky; arista up to 3 mm. long.. Corymbs terminal on leafy lateral branches 3–15 cm. long, subumbellate, ± compact, 2–4 cm. across; primary inflorescence branches 2–5.8(–10) mm. long, glabrous or rarely sparsely pubescent; secondary branches present or absent; pedicels 2–9 mm. long, glabrous or sparsely pubescent; bracts 3–7 mm. long, papery..
