Corymbs terminal on short leafless (or occasionally with immature leaves) branches 1.8–5.5 cm. long, compact, 2–2.4 cm. across; primary inflorescence-branches 1–4 mm. long, pubescent; secondary branches very reduced; pedicels 1.5–3 mm. long, pubescent; bracts buff-coloured, 2 mm. long; bracteoles black with pale brown margin (on dry specimens).. Calyx-tube 1 mm. long, pubescent; limb-tube 0.75–1 mm. long, wider than tube, sparsely pubescent; lobes narrowly triangular, 2.5–3 mm. long, sparsely pubescent, ± 0.75 mm. wide at base..
