Shrub to 3 m. Stem may be spreading at first, later erect. Bark pale grey, finely fissured. Leaves opposite, oblanceolate, 50-90 x 11-20 mm, taper to the base & pointed apex, slightly leathery, smooth, shiny, dark green, margin wavy, hairy domatia in some vein axils below, scattered nodules in the blade. Stalk 5-10 mm. Flowers white, corolla tube 8-11 mm, calyx teeth 0.8-1.5 mm, blunt to rounded. In large, stalked clusters toward branchlet ends. Fruits black, crowned with the short persistent calyx, to 6 mm diam.
Shrub, up to 2 m high. Leaves narrowly oblanceolate, apex acute to acuminate, glabrous, petiolate, bacterial nodules dot-shaped and scattered. Calyx lobes 0.8-1.5 mm long, apices obtuse to rounded. Corolla tube 8-11 mm long. Flowers white.
