Leaves glabrous; blades drying greenish, narrowly oblong to oblanceolate, 7–14.5 cm. long, 1.8–4.9 cm. wide, apex acuminate, base often unequal, obtuse to acute, ± coriaceous, shiny above, midrib prominent beneath; bacterial nodules linear, situated along the midrib plus few dot-shaped and scattered; petiole 0.7–2 cm. long, glabrous; stipules triangular, 3–8 mm. long, mucronulate, puberulous outside, densely covered with silky hairs inside.. Corymbs terminal on lateral branches 2.5–11.5 cm. long bearing up to 3 pairs of leaves, lax, 3.6–7 cm. across; primary branches 0.3–1.7 cm. long, glabrous; secondary and often tertiary branches present; pedicels 1–9 mm. long, glabrous; bracts brown, papery, 5–9 mm. long, sparsely hairy outside, with dense silky hairs inside; bracteoles conspicuous..
