Leaves glabrous, mostly restricted to the apices of the branches; blades elliptic to broadly elliptic, 6–9 cm. long, 1.8–4 cm. wide, apex obtuse to acute or sometimes shortly acuminate, base narrowly cuneate or attenuate; bacterial nodules dot-shaped, few to several, scattered; petioles 0.8–1.4 cm. long; stipule-limbs truncate, 4–6 mm. long, membranous, glabrous outside, glabrous or with silky hairs within; arista up to 5 mm. long..
