Leaf-blades oblanceolate or narrowly to broadly elliptic, 7.5–20 cm. long, 2.4–8 cm. wide, apex acuminate, base cuneate, sparsely strigose or pubescent with denser hairs on the midrib above and the nerves beneath; bacterial nodules present or absent; petiole 0.9–4 cm. long, pubescent; stipule-limbs subtruncate to triangular, 1–3 mm. long, sometimes corky around the margin, sparsely hairy outside, with stiff hairs inside; arista 0.4–1.2 cm. long, sparsely hairy.. Corymbs terminal on lateral branches 8–19 cm. long bearing 2–3 pairs of leaves, or occasionally on the main branches, lax to very lax, 5–10 cm. across, few–many-flowered; primary inflorescence-branches 0.5–3 cm. long, pubescent; secondary to tertiary branches present; pedicels 2.5–11 mm. long, sparsely or densely covered in patent long or shortish hairs; bracts stipule-like; bracteoles inconspicuous..
