Characteristics

Stems slender, ascending or decumbent, 15-35(60) cm long, several to numerous from a taproot, appressed pubescent to pilose. Leaflets 15-30 x 2-6 mm, mostly narrowly elliptic-oblong, the lower ones and those on decumbent shoots relatively broad, thinly to densely pilose; petiole 4-16 mm long; stipules 2-7(11) mm long, linear or linear-lanceolate. Flowers mostly erect or resupinate, pale yellow, 1(2) on wiry leaf-opposed peduncles 0.7-2 cm long; bracts 2-5 mm long, linear; pedicels 1-3 mm long; bracteoles similar to the bract.
