Characteristics

Diffuse herb, 0.2-0.3 m high; long glandular hairs on stems and leaves. Leaves velvety, lamina reniform, 15-25 x 20-40 mm, base angular-cordate, 5-7-palmately-lobed, often with zonal markings, margins irregularly toothed, base cordate; petioles exceptionally long. Stipules lanceolate. Inflorescences of 1-6-flowered pseudo-umbels. Petals 5, white or cream-coloured, posterior 2 broader than anterior 3. Fertile stamens 7. Flowering time spring or all year.
