Pelargonium exhibens Vorster

Scandent, aromatic subshrub, 0.1-0.3 m high; stems herbaceous, covered with remains of persistent petioles. Leaves subsucculent, lamina cordiform, base cordate, apex lobed, margins shallowly lobed; petiole often longer than lamina. Stipules membranous. Inflorescences: pseudo-umbels 3-5-flowered; pedicels very short, 1-4 mm long. Hypanthium 10-12 mm long. Sepals 5, imbricate, connate at base, apex sometimes reflexed. Petals white to cream-coloured; spathulate, posterior 2 with wine-red, feather-like markings, much larger than anterior 3. Flowering time Sept.-Apr.
