Inflorescence axillary or rarely leaf-opposed, with (2-)3-7 flowers; peduncles 13-40 mm long; bracts lanceolate-ovate to broadly ovate, 1.5-5.0 x 0.5-3.0 mm, abaxially pilose, adaxially glabrous or only sparsely pubescent; pedicels 0.5-2.0(-2.5) mm long. Hypanthium 2.5-5.0 mm long, spreading pubescent-pilose with glandular hairs interspersed. Sepals 5, ovate-lanceolate to ovate-oblong, posterior lobe 4.0-5.5 x 1.0-2.8 mm, lateral lobes 4.0-5.5 x 1-2 mm, anterior lobes 4.5-5.5 x 1.5-2.5 mm, indumentum as for hypanthium or with longer pilose hairs. Petals 5, longer than sepals, magenta with purple venation (possibly posterior petals white with pink venation, anterior petals magenta with purple venation); posterior petals oblong, asymmetrical, 4.5-5.0 x 2.0-2.5 mm, apices obtuse; anterior petals oblanceolate-spathulate, symmetrical, 5-6 x 1-2 mm, apices obtuse. Androecium 7 fertile anthers, pinkish-brown, ca. 0.3-1.0 mm long, pollen cream-coloured to orange. Gynoecium ovary 2.0-2.5 mm long; style ca. 0.5-1.0 mm long; stigma branches ca. 1.0-1.5 mm long, pink-red to purple. Fruit bases of mericarps 2-3 mm long, glandular, tails 7(9)-12 mm long.
