Characteristics

Floriferum 17-18 cm altum. Tuber oblongato-cylindricum, usque 6 cm longum, 21/4 cm crassum, pallide fuscum. Folia numerosa, petiolata, cum petiolis subtilissime puberulo-glandulosis 6 cm et ultra longa; lamina petiolo aequilongaj bipinnatifida pinnulis linearibus acutiusculis margine ciliatulis; folia exteriora saepe irregulariter incisa, in lacinias fere cuneatas scissa. Stipulae ultra medium petiolo adnatae, sicut pars infima eius pilis setosis patulis fusces-centibus hirsutissimae et fusco-rubro-nitidae; partes liberae usque 7 mm longae, subulatae, acutissimae. Flores pro maxima parte foliis praecociores. Umbella simplex. Pedunculus 14 cm longus, 2-21/4 mm crassus, pilis patentissimis satis longis rigidis hirsutus; multiflorus, floribus saepe 20-22 in umbella. Bracteae 4 mm longae, subulatae, acutae, pilis setosis longis hirsutissimae. Flores subsessiles. Calycis calcar sepalis 4-6-plo longius, 23/4-31/2 cm longum, 1 mm crassum, pilis setosiusculis patulis longis vix dense obsitum; sepala 5-6 mm longa, anguste lanceolata, acuta, margine manifeste membranacea, subhirsuta pilis apicem superantibus. Petala 5, inaequilonga; duo superiora e basi unguiculata lingulato-spathulata, recurvata, usque 15 mm longa, parte media macula purpurea notata; tria inferiora angustiora, 10 mm longa, unicolora; omnia albida (?).
