Rosulate perennial herb, up to 0.15 m in diam., up to 0.07 m in height; pubescent with glandular hairs interspersed. Stipules lanceolate, (1.5-)5.0-6.0 x 2.0-2.5(-4.0) mm. leaves simple, ovate-oblong in outline, margins bipinnatilobed and sometimes revolute, base cordate to obtuse, usually glaucous, sometimes rachis reddish; petioles 12-43 mm long; laminae 7-24 x 5-18 mm, pubescent adaxially and abaxially, sometimes with glandular hairs interspersed. Inflorescence axillary and erect, with (2)3-8 flowers; peduncles 22-47 mm long, densely appressed pubescent; bracts ovate to ovate-lanceolate, 1.5-3.5 x 0.5-1.0 mm, abaxially and adaxially pubescent; pedicels 2-5 mm long. Hypanthium 6-8 mm long, densely appressed silvery-pubescent with glandular hairs interspersed. Sepals 5, ovate-lanceolate, posterior lobe 3.5-4.5 x 1.5 mm, lateral lobes 3.5-4.5 x ca. 1.8 mm, anterior lobes 3.5-4.5 x 1.0-1.5 mm, indumentum as for hypanthium. Petals 5, slightly longer than sepals, white to pale pink with darker pink venation, oblanceolate-obovate to somewhat spathulate, posterior petals slightly asymmetrical, 6-7 x 1.5-2.0 mm, apices obtuse; anterior petals oblanceolate-obovate to somewhat spathulate, ca. symmetrical, 6.0-6.5 x 1.0-1.5 mm, apices obtuse. Androecium 7 fertile anthers, possibly light brown, 1.0-1.5 mm long, pollen cream-coloured. Gynoecium: ovary 2.0-2.5 mm long; style ca. 0.5 mm long; stigma branches 1.0-1.5 mm long, brownish wine-red to purple. Fruit bases of mericarps ca. 2 mm long, glandular, tails 11-15 mm long.
