Tuberous geophyte, up to 400 mm tall. Leaves sometimes dry at flowering, bipinnatisect, up to 250 mm long, segments 1-3 mm wide. Flowers in 2-4 clusters on a branched peduncle, up to 50 in each, pedicel up to 10 mm long, petals 5, white, yellow, or pink, 10-20 mm long, 3 lower forming a keel, hypanthium 12-55 mm long.
