Flowers with the hy-panthium short, the calycine cup oblong, ca. 1.2 cm long, coriaceous, golden puberulent outside, glabrous within and with clusters of glands within, the lobes perhaps 5, unequal, triangular oblong to widely subulate, 0.4-0.8 mm long, acute, ciliolate; corolla with the tube cylindrical, 3.5-5.0 cm long, puberulent outside, glabrous within, coriaceous, the lobes 5, narrowly oblong, 10-12 mm long, often acute; stamens 5, the anthers oblong, ca. 4 mm long, the filaments 1.8-2.0 mm long, villose, especially below the middle; style linear, 30 mm long or longer, the stigmas 2, oblong, ca. 5.5 mm long, ca. 2 mm wide, obtuse. Fruits not seen.
