Characteristics

Dwarf shrub, up to 300 mm high; aromatic, erect. Leaves alternate, sessile; blade pinnately 3-5-lobed, lobes linear, all spread in various planes, apices with minute bristle, bright green. Heads discoid, solitary, terminal; peduncle up to 20 mm long. Involucral bracts 3-or 4-seriate, apices membranous. Receptacle epaleate. Flowers: disc florets only; corolla 5-lobed, deep golden-yellow; Oct.-Jun. Fruit with cypsela obpyramidal, 5-ribbed. Pappus an oblique coroniform scale, lacerated.
