Creeping or epiphytic ± glabrous perennial subsucculent herb, (4–)10–30 cm. tall, often mat-forming on rocks etc.; stems pale green, with adventitious roots at the nodes; ultimate branchlets creeping to erect.. Leaves fleshy, alternate or uppermost opposite, obovate, elliptic or ovate-lanceolate, (0.3–)1–3(–4) cm. long, (0.2–)0.4–1.7(–2.2) cm. wide, obtuse to rounded or sometimes emarginate at the apex, rounded to cuneate at the base, sometimes ± pellucid punctate above and beneath, glabrous or rarely with some scattered hairs; midrib conspicuous, with 2–3 pairs of lateral nerves and marginal nerve; petiole (1–)3–8(–10) mm. long, glabrous.. Spikes greenish white or yellow, terminal or axillary, solitary or rarely 2–3 together,(0.5–)1–5 cm. long, glabrous; peduncle 0.3–1.5(–2) cm. long, glabrous.. Ovary ovoid, half sunk into the rhachis; bracts rounded, 0.4–0.6 mm. wide, glandular puberulous.. Fruit brown, ovoid, glabrous, 0.8–0.9 mm. long, 0.4–0.6 mm. wide, with white sticky glands, shortly pseudopedicellate; stigma subapical.
