Origin: in Homestead, Fla., by E.C. Byars, Sr. Introd. in 1948. Open-pollinated seedling of Collinson; selected in 1932. Tree: Fruit: 16 to 40 oz; elliptical; skin slightly rugose, olive green, stippled with light green lenticels; flesh yellow with a wide green area next to skin; seed size medium, fairly tight in cavity; season December through February.; resembles Collinson. Flowering group B. Obsolete.
