Presumed bud mutation of Hass with larger average fruit size and earlier harvest season. Origin: Agrofruticola San Bernardo de Mallarauco, Santiago, Chile, by A. Schiappacasse Macchiavello. Presumed bud mutation discovered 1998 in the Mallarauco Valley, Chile. USPP 26,798; 7 June 2016. Tree: growth habit vigorous, upright; flowering type A. Fruit: more elongated and larger than Hass, 278 g in Irvine, CA; ovate; skin rough, dark purple or black, similar to Hass; harvest season 4-5 weeks before Hass.
