Leaves narrowly to broadly elliptic to ovate, 1.2-5 cm long, 4-30 mm wide, flat, with slightly recurved margins, sometimes slightly incurved, spreading, straight, innocuous, concolorous to strongly discolorous, not glaucous, sparsely to moderately hairy when immature, glabrescent, smooth to moderately scabrous. Inflorescence auxotelic, 1-40-flowered; rachis 0-17 cm long. Flowers subtended by scale leaves and leaves; pedicels 2-10 mm long, spreading to recurved, sparsely to moderately hairy; tepals 9-12 mm long, prominently caudate with dorsal tails, sparsely to moderately hairy on outside.
