Characteristics

Shrub, up to 0.6 m high. Leaves lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate. Flowers solitary, axillary. Bracteoles ovate, at first greenish or suffused with purple, afterwards yellowish; with darker veins; membranous. Corolla ± 25 mm long. Pedicels 3 mm long. Flowers blue to mauve.
