Characteristics

Annua, hirsuta, a basi ramosissima, caulibus procumbentibus vel ascendentibus, 10-25 cm longis. Folia bipinnatifida, segmentis oblongis, lobis brevibus ovatis obtusis. Cincinni terminales, distichi, laxe corymbosi, densissimi, pedicellis sub-nullis; sepala oblonga obtusa hirsuta, 2-3 mm longa; corolla lilacina, campanulata, calyce paulo longior, lobis latis brevissimis; squamae oblongae, apice truncatae, tota fere longitudine cum staminibus coalitae; stamina corollam paulo superantia; ovarium ovoideum pilosum; stylus usque ad 2/3 longitudinis suae partitus, calyce paulo longior. Capsula globosa 3 mm longa, calyce vix brevior, sepalis supra capsulam convergentibus; semina fusca, in carina et in marginibus tuberculata; embryo 1.5 mm longus, leviter curvatus, cotyledonibus oblongis radicula paulo brevioribus.
