Characteristics

Shrub to 2 m high, glabrous and glaucous to closely stellate-tomentose. Branchlets erect, glandular-verrucose or smooth. Leaves terete and channelled adaxially to narrowly oblong or narrowly obovoid and concave adaxially, 1.5–18 mm long. Flowers solitary; peduncle absent; pedicel 0.5–4 mm long, multi-bracteolate towards base. Sepals suborbicular, 1 mm long, fleshy, glabrous or pubescent. Petals broadly ovate, 4.5 mm long, white to pink or pale mauve, glabrous. Stamens: filaments narrowly oblong, attenuate towards apex, subglabrous to pilose and woolly-ciliate; anthers 0.6–1 mm long. Style glabrous. Cocci oblong, c. 6 mm long, almost smooth, shortly divaricate-rostrate.
