Cultivation

Origin: as Thoory o.p. seedling on property of E.K. Daval near Cathedral City, Calif., in 1916 or 1917; named after location in third row of planting. Tree: vigorous; resembles Thoory, but leaves have more curvature and crown is more open. Fruit: dry type; large, 43-52 x 19-22 mm, oblong; skin medium thick, pale yellow with greenish tinge when immature, amber to reddish-brown at maturity; flesh soft and melting; flavor pleasing; ripens early.
