Leaves of the plagiotropic shoots with petioles 2 mm. long; blades ovate to lanceolate, 2–4.3 cm. long, 0.8–1.7(–2.5) cm. wide, acute, rounded at the base, firmly membranaceous to thinly chartaceous, lateral nerves ± 10 pairs, not prominent above and scarcely prominent beneath, drying grey-green or brownish above, pinkish brown beneath.. Stipules linear-lanceolate, 1.5–2 mm. long, acute, sub-entire, purplish brown..
