Flowers bisexual or female, with antrorse hairs outside, glabrous inside, usually white, sometimes pink or pale yellow. Hypanthium 7–16 mm long, circumscissile; style-portion 5.5–13 mm long. Sepals 1.5–5 mm long. Stamens shorter than or rarely shortly exceeding sepals; anther locules latrorse or sometimes semi-latrorse. Ovary distally hairy.
