Inflorescence pendulous, compact, many-flowered; involucral bracts in 1–3 pairs, broadly elliptic or broadly ovate, 14–25 mm long, 12–20 mm wide, glabrous, green or yellowish green, sometimes partially reddish. Flowers bisexual or rarely female, glabrous, pale green. Hypanthium 9–14 mm long, circumscissile; style-portion 6–10.5 mm long. Sepals 3.5–4.5 mm long. Stamens shortly exceeding sepals; anther locules semi-latrorse. Ovary glabrous or with a few hairs towards base.
