Petals separate, 3.5–4.5 cm long, dull white basally or medially, distal part bright red; basal part slightly S-shaped, 7–10 mm long, with 4–6 paired folds inside; distal part recurving, twisted, linear-spathulate above.
Moderate-sized shrub, up to 1 m high, parasitic on species of Acacia. Leaves conspicuously sagittate, clasping stem, linear to linear-oblong. Flowers with base dull white, lobes bright red.
Leaves light grey-green, sessile, 2.5–7.5 × 0.4–1.8 cm, linear to narrowly oblong, basally sagittate, obscurely 3(5)-nerved.
Umbels 1–2 in axils or at nodes below, 3–5-flowered; peduncle 3–9 mm long; pedicels 5–8 mm long.
Receptacle 3.5–4 mm long, obconic.
Stamens red; anthers 7–9 mm long.
Calyx 0.7–1 mm long, rim-like.
Berry 11 × 7 mm, ellipsoid.
