Inflorescence racemose or rarely poorly branched, erect, 6–14 cm. high, laxly 7–12-flowered; peduncle 2–6 cm. long, terete or slightly compressed; bracts broadly ovate, acuminate, 6–11 mm. long, 5–7.5 mm. wide, sparsely pubescent.. Flowers ± secund, aniseed scented; pedicellate ovary 5–7 mm. long..
